'I’ve worked in onscreen / online publishing for most of my career, having started out as a tester and proof-reader on the UK edition of Microsoft’s Encarta 1998 encyclopedia, before moving on to copy edit and section edit for later editions. After that I worked at Church House Publishing, the Church of England's publishing wing, where I project managed an interactive liturgical CD-ROM to help Church of England vicars get the right words for their church services, and was launch web editor of an ecumenical church resource site - developing project/product management, user support and business analysis skills alongside my editorial skillset. I was also privileged to act for a while as secretary to the Church of England’s National IT Steering Group. Since joining RBI as a sales support administrator in a bid to return to the commercial sector, I worked my way back up to web manager at ContractJournal.com, then a UK leading construction industry title, before moving to ComputerWeekly.com as deputy web editor. I’ve always enjoyed working on the challenges of website development and am very pleased to now be focusing completely on these aspects of our sites.'
