Application performance management solutions specialist Ipanema is making a renewed pitch to channel partners, and has conceded that its application assurance message may have been a bit too far ahead of the curve in the past. Given the rapid evolution of the application delivery supply chain – thanks to BYOD, mobility and as emerging trends such as wearable tech and the Internet of Things – IT managers have often become dispossessed of control, and in desperation have increased bandwidth when they didn’t necessarily need to, according to Ipanema’s marketing VP, Beatrice Piquer-Durand.
