Novell has confirmed the return of its European BrainSharereseller event putting the conference back on the calendar after a five yearbreak.

The return of BrainShare in Europecomes after a break caused by the recession following a loss of appetite lastyear among resellers to attend foreign trips.

Speaking to MicroScope in September Dan Veitkus, vicepresident and general manager of partners EMEA at Novell, said that the vendorunderstood the value of personal communication with its partners.

The chosen venue for BrainShare EMEA is Amsterdam in May and the emphasis of theevent is going to be on Novell’s current strategy to push a portfolio sale intothe emerging information workflow management (IWM) space.

Javier Colado, President EMEA, Novell, said that the return of BrainShare in Europewas  "a reflection of our focus onhelping customers, prospects and partners get more from their Novell solutions.”

“As we embark on our strategy of IWM, itwas important we provided a forum for customers, partners, and prospects tocome together to listen, see and discuss how it could be applied to their organizations,”he added.
