What is the best/worst advice you have received and from whom?
You reap what you sow. My dad told me that when I was 10.

What is the best book you have ever read?
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

Tell us something most people do not know about you
I own 200 sheep.

What is your most elusive goal?
Getting back down to 14 stone and 7 pounds.

Which bit of technology would you want with you if you were stranded on a desert island?
A helicopter, so I could get off.

Who helped you get to where you are today?
My family.

Where is the one place you would like to visit before you die?
The moon.

What do you just have to do before you die?
See above.

What temptation can you not resist?

What do you believe in most?
Success breeds success.

What was your first car and how does it compare with what you drive now?
A Mini Metro which fell apart after it cost me £400 to get it through an MOT. I now drive a BMW and a TVR, so a bit of a contrast.

Do you have any pets? If so, what are they and what are their names?
I have a dog called Thyo and a cat called Oscar.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be and why?
The Stig from Top Gear so I could race round the test track in high-spec (and reasonably priced) cars all day.

Who would you least like to be stuck in a lift with?
Gordon Brown.

Describe yourself in one sentence
A hard-working family man who is also a petrolhead.

Why are you good at your job?
I enjoy it and I like the people I work with.

If you were shipwrecked, who would you like to have with you and why?
A pilot to fly that helicopter.

Suntan lotion.
A (small) desalination plant.

If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be?
A lion.

If a grizzly bear and a silverback gorilla decided to have a no holds barred fight, which would you put your money on?
The gorilla. They are awesome animals.

Describe your perfect night out
Football, beer, dinner and dancing in my favourite nightclub.

What would be your perfect holiday?
Beach with the kids.
