Dell has assured MicroScope that the system error that caused a disturbance to its Premier Pages online pricing system have been fixed.
Partners reported experiencing problems last month with the online system that caused them to give customers invalid quotes.
The Premier Pages online tool allows Dell’s authorised reseller partners to view the latest products with a set discount structure but it went down on 16 July for a reason that has yet to be determined.
A Dell spokeswoman assured the channel that the problems had been identified and a fix put in place.
“Dell has fully investigated the issue which affected online pricing on its Premier Pages last month, which was caused by a system error. The system error has been fully rectified. We are focused on providing our partners with a consistent service and updated information,” she said.
