Dell has assured MicroScope that the system error thatcaused a disturbance to its Premier Pages online pricing system have beenfixed.
Partners reported experiencing problems last month with theonline system that caused them to give customers invalid quotes.
The Premier Pages online toolallows Dell’s authorised reseller partners to view the latest products with aset discount structure but it went down on 16 July for a reason that has yet tobe determined.
A Dell spokeswoman assured thechannel that the problems had been identified and a fix put in place.
“Dell has fully investigated the issue which affectedonline pricing on its Premier Pages last month, which was caused by a systemerror. The system error has been fully rectified. We are focused onproviding our partners with a consistent service and updated information,” shesaid.
