Hammer has announced a trio of vendor signings to bolster its portfolio in the crucial fourth quarter.
TMS specialises is Solid State Disk, an emerging technology that rivals hard disk, and Woody Hutsell, Executive Vice President at the vendor, said that there were growth opportunities in Europe and it wanted to increase its activity in the market through a distribution appointment.
There was a similar story with BakBone, which wanted a European distribution deal to increase sales of its integrated data protection products.
Ryan Witt, senior vice president, sales and marketing for BridgeHead Software, said that the archiving specialist had been looking for a distribution partner that had established relationships with resellers that were able to integrate its products into a wider solution.
James Ward, managing director at Hammer, said that it was offering solution based selling and technologies like SSD fitted well into that strategy.
