Hammer has announced a trio of vendor signings to bolsterits portfolio in the crucial fourth quarter.
The storage distributor has appointed Texas Memory Systems(TMS), BridgeHead Software and BakBone.
TMS specialises is Solid State Disk, an emerging technologythat rivals hard disk, and WoodyHutsell, Executive Vice President at the vendor, said that there were growth opportunitiesin Europe and it wanted to increase its activity in the market through a distributionappointment.
There was a similar story with BakBone, which wanted aEuropean distribution deal to increase sales of its integrated data protectionproducts.
Ryan Witt, seniorvice president, sales and marketing for BridgeHead Software, said thatthe archiving specialist had been looking for a distribution partner that hadestablished relationships with resellers that were able to integrate itsproducts into a wider solution.
James Ward, managing director at Hammer, said that it wasoffering solution based selling and technologies like SSD fitted well into thatstrategy.
