Those brushing up their CVs looking for a job in the new year might well consider targeting Juniper Networks after the vendor came out top of a poll of the best places to work in IT.

The survey by Glassdoor.com looked at the best and the worst places to work across all sectors but specifically in tech it appears that networking and storage companies are good choices for employment.

The results came from an online survey was filled in by 70,000 employees and companies were judged on a range of factors including career opportunities, compensation & benefits, employee morale and the attitude towards work/life balance.

Although the survey had a US flavour the companies in the top ten are international and have offices in the UK.

The top ten:
Juniper Networks
National Instruments
Google
NetApp
Apple
QUALCOMM
Novell
Adobe
EMC
Rackspace
