Midwich has extended the products it carries by Canon afterbeing given access to the vendor’s large format printer range.
The distributor already handles document scanners and the consumerimaging products and now adds the large format range that it aimed at both thegeneral market and the CADand graphics markets.
Alex Ward, commercial director at Midwich, said that Canonhad recognised that the IT market represented an untapped area for it to pushthese products.
The vendor has been developing its large format range to getinto a position where it has products not just for the specialist customer basebut also for general users.
Matthew Searle, UK director of the Canon PartnerChannel, said that it was the right time to take the range through a widerreseller base, hence extending the products to Midwich.
