Security managed services specialist dns has been acquiredby SecureWorks providing the USvendor with a UKpresence on both sides of the border.
In the last decade dns has established offices in London and Edinburgh andbuilt up a customer base here and in Europe.
SecureWorks already sells into the UK but throughthe acquisition, details of which remain undisclosed, it gains employees andoffice space.
Mike Cote, chairman and CEO of SecureWorks, said that itshared the same culture as dns and it was the right partner to acquire tosupport global expansion plans.
In response Graeme Cox, managing director and founder ofdns, said it would be a stronger player following a folding into SecureWorks.
“By combining our local expertise and security consulting talent withSecureWorks’ managed security services, consulting and threat intelligence, wecan greatly expand the depth and breadth of services we currently offer our clients,”he said.
