Cisco Gold Partner ANS Group has announced its full-year results, with operating profit up 13% year-on-year to £1.2m on sales of £12.3m.

The Manchester-based reseller, which also works alongside Microsoft, VMware and NetApp, has been re-jigging its business in recent months to focus more closely on unified comms, collaboration and virtualisation.

ANS’ managed services division has also performed above par and is being developed into a 24/7 offering with the intention of making it a key part of the business for the next financial year.

Group chairman Scott Fletcher said: “We have been rewarded for a focused strategy and a company-wide determination to build our business.”

Fletcher also announced plans to expand both sales and technical teams over the coming months. ANS is one of several networking dealers currently recruiting in spite of rising unemployment rates.
