Fujitsu to sell professional services via mid-market dealers

Fujitsu is opening up server and storage consolidation services to mid market resellers that there previously aimed at large corporate and central Government customers.

The Server Consolidation Assessment and Storage Consolidation Assessment services delivered by Fujitsu's professional consulting arm had been available to buy through corporate resellers, ISV and SI partners.

Server and storage consolidation continued to be areas of customer interest said Darren Neath, UK and Ireland channel manager at Fujitsu.

 "If resellers are not able to fully address those areas and take a consultative approach to doing so, then they are probably leaving money on the table," he said.

Some resellers may already offer professional services of this ilk but may not have nationwide coverage or may use multiple suppliers, said Neath, adding that the service could be white labelled.
