Fujitsu channel director Darren Neath is leaving the business at the end of the month to join up with his predecessor Gary Fowle, who runs the OEM division at Microsoft.

This is the third channel boss to leave the Japanese corporate in a little over 18 months, during which time Fujitsu acquired Siemens' stake in the joint venture and restructured within the parent group.

A spokesman at Fujitsu confirmed that after four years' service, Neath will depart at the end of October.

"Until a new appointment is made Dave Pritchard, head of business development, will be looking after Darren's responsibilities," he told MicroScope.

Neath took over from Gary Fowle as channel director in September 2009. Fowle had himself only been in the role for six months after the previous incumbent Ian Newall was made redundant.

Prior to joining Fujitsu, Neath held several positions at Computer 2000 including general manager for software.
