Micro-P adds BenQ products to AV portfolio

Micro-P the Hampshire based retail and B2B distributor has announced it has bolstered its audio visual portfolio after signing a partnership with BenQ, writes Linda Endersby.

The distributor will offer BenQ projectors, LCD monitors, large format displays and digital cameras, extending the range of their AV offering and giving wider opportunities to resellers.

Mark Adams, head of channel sales for BenQ, said that it was looking for a distributor with a reach into the retail channel.

"Micro-P exceptional performance in the Retail channel over the last few years made this a very easy decision and we are looking forward to promoting our full LCD, projector and digital camera range through them".

In response Ian Aitken, general manager of Micro-P's AV and Consumer Division, said that it was a signing that would add to the range of products it could offer resellers.

"BenQ's projectors and panels offer new and exciting technologies which will help Micro-P expand into new markets," continued Aiken, "These new products include the first Blu Core Laser projector"
