Among the latest innovations from the former storage-centricvendor, which made its move on the networking piece last year with theacquisition of Foundry, are a new Professional Services Programme, throughwhich dealers will be able to deliver Brocade IP professional services or theirown, certified services.
The new Support Delivery Programme will allow selectiveresellers to deliver Tier-1 and Tier-2 support, Brocade said, while the finalpiece is the introduction of limited lifetime warranties on selected IPnetworking products.
"These programmes will allow channel partners to deliver thehighest-touch customer experience with a comprehensive product and supportcoverage model," said Brocade vice president of channels, Barbara Spicek.
Speaking to MicroScope last week, Brocade EMEA channeldirector Amanda Giddins said the Alliance Partner Network, which Brocadelaunched in May, was continuing to attract interest from storage areanetworking specialists buying into the end-to-end datacentre proposition.
