ComputerLinks is expanding the depth of support it offers resellers taking the wraps off a series of virtualisation services that are designed to plug the gaps in dealer's knowledge.
Using a Citrix Partner Accelerator event later this week the distributor will unveil capacty planning, design and implementation support covering Citrix, Microsoft, Virtual Machine Company and VMware have been added to its professional services offering.
Resellers themselves have called for the move to help plug a skills gap that is potentially losing them sales.
"As the business case for virtualisation is now well-accepted, resellers are under increasing pressure to deliver solutions that are carefully planned to meet their clients' specific needs," said Kathryn Miller, professional services manager at ComputerLinks.
"However, many resellers don't have the resources or time to develop these skills in depth themselves," she added.
