Telindus has appointed mobile industry expert Mike Bowerman to head up its new Mobile Broadband Framework as client director of mobile and spearhead the firm's drive into the mobile broadband market.
Bowerman will take responsibility for whipping Telindus' internal fixed line mobile teams into
shape and integrating them with parent Belgacom's mobile field unit.
In previous roles with Brite Voice Systems and ROK, Bowerman was responsible for creating O2's first pre-pay service as a major outsourcing contract, and came up with the concept of extending the Virgin brand into the mobility sector.
Telindus UK MD Mark Hutchinson said Bowerman's track record of successful launches in the UK mobility sector made him "ideal to head Telindus' new offering."
"Mike has a deep understanding of mobile business and we are confident that his insight and on the ground experience will ensure the success of Telindus Mobile Broadband Framework," he added.
