Intact to vet Cisco services channel

Alex Scroxton
Cisco services and support outfit Intact Integrated Services has added a formal partner accreditation tool - dubbed INSpect - to its expanding INSpan services network.

The new processes are designed to ensure due diligence around recruitment, service improvement and management of Intact partners, which the firm today claimed would help it achieve higher standards in network technology services.

INSpect lays bare a prospect's sales and business model, technical abilities, operational systems and tools, structure and other commercial aspects, and includes an on-site auditing process.

CEO Bob Dalton said the new set-up supported the firm's aim of providing higher standards of service, saying: "Cisco partners increasingly turn to [us] to support them on their most complex partners, so it's essential that our global INSpan partners are able to support our delivery of best practice Cisco-related services regardless of location."
