Ricoh has revised its financial forecast for its financial year upwards as a result of stronger than expected sales.
The printer specialist has added 10m Yen onto its net sales forecast, a 0.5% increase, on the estimates it put out in January.
It also revised pre-tax profit upwards by 57.1% to 55m Yen instead of 35m Yen. Across the board the numbers have been shuffled upwards.
"Ricoh expects higher net sales than our previous forecast as we see a positive trend for our business and we start to reap the benefits from our growth strategies," the vendor stated.
It also pointed to the results of restructuring as having a positive impact on pre-tax income, which is also expected to be better than the start of the year forecast.
The yearly results are unveiled next Tuesday.
