Brocade has launched a series of new channel facing vertical marketing programmes, seeking to take advantage of growing vertical opportunities, particularly healthcare.
Citing a May 2009 IDC report on western European healthcare spending, Brocade said the sector will drive IT investments up by $2bn (£1.3bn) to $14.4bn by 2012.
"Customers have bespoke purchasing criteria and this is particularly evident within vertical markets. Partners need to differentiate themselves from the competition and offer a tailored solution to the customer," said Brocade EMEA channel director Amanda Giddins (
The incentive programme, which also covers higher education, public sector and financial services contracts is open to all partner levels within Brocade's programme.
They include special discounts, incremental deal registration to protect partner-generated deals, expanded support from Brocade's channel sales teams and a portfolio of marketing materials for dealers to customise to their own needs.
