Security specialist Astaro is considering changes to the partner programme after a number of vertical focused resellers came on board.
The vendor is on the brink of launching three products to widen the portfolio beyond it's traditional UTM expertise and the attraction of these launches is one factor in it's expanding channel.
Andrew Fourie, UK and Ireland sales director at Astaro, said that it had signed up a number of resellers with vertical market knowledge and this might filter back into it's programmes.
"How can we realign and can we look at different types of programmes," he said, these were some of the questions it was wrestling with at the moment.
One of the key product launches coming up is a hosted email archiving system and branch office security solution, which Fourie said was particularly appealing to vertical resellers pitching protection to NHS and retail customers.
