Sage sets out ambitions to take mid market share

Simon Quicke
Sage is using a reseller event in London tomorrow to outline its ambitions in the mid market as it launches a national campaign to increase the user awareness of its brand in that space.

The software vendor has been selling into the mid-market for a few years but wants to increase that business and is launching a "all business not just small business" marketing campaign through the national press to support a summer push into that segment of the market.

Michele McKenna, commercial product manager for the lower mid market at Sage, said that it was rolling out a number of product launches this summer, introducing support for virtualised environments as well as the campaign to promote its presence in the mid market.

"We are running a national campaign and getting awareness up is important and we will be getting referencing to underline the reliability in that space," she said.

Sage is holding its London business partner event tomorrow and is expecting its local reseller base to turn out in force to hear about the latest developments.
