Networking services provider Azzurri has bagged the former UK president of BT Global Services, Mark Quartermaine, to fill the vacant role of CEO.
Quartermaine spent only 12 months in his previous position, and will start at Azzurri in September.
In a statement, Azzurri chairman Jim McKenna said: "We are very pleased that Mark is joining us to lead the next phase of Azzurri's strategic plan for growth."
"Mark has a successful track record of delivering growth and we look forward to working together to bring continued success to Azzurri Communications," he added.
Azzurri, which partners with Aruba, Avaya, Cisco and Hewlett-Packard among others, has been quiet of late after completing a marathon acquisition strategy under company founder Martin St Quinton, who stepped down from the role of CEO in 2008.
It has since focused largely on organic growth.
