UC and IP phone specialist ShoreTel is to run a series of channel-centric total cost of ownership (TCO) training courses across EMEA to drive uptake of its Online TCO facility.
ShoreTel has staked a big part of its market reputation on beating its rivals on TCO and initially launched the tool in April.
The service is backed up by metrics database provider Alinean, and is designed to help dealers deploy 100 user installations or higher against solutions from Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft and Mitel.
The new courses will be delivered by ShoreTel's local sales training teams in each market and consist of a mix of webinars and live events.
"Too many vendors offer very complex solutions which have a huge TCO associated with them over the life of the system," said ShoreTel EMEA marketing head Tom Perry.
"[The] training sessions will take the form of short intensive workshops, offering insight into how our tool determines the exact costs and business value of ShoreTel solutions compared to competitive deployments," he added.
