Nimans' newly-appointed network services head Mark Curtis-Wood has vowed to take a back-to-basics approach to sales pitches in order to entreat more dealers to consider adopting network services.
Setting out plans to grow the comms distributor's networking business, Curtis-Wood said: "What we are finding on the front line is the need to simplify things for resellers. Take out the alphabet soup and the acronyms because I think the whole industry is often guilty of talking in a foreign language."
He added: "This is holding back some resellers by creating a fog of confusion."
Curtis-Wood advised resellers to take their current services portfolio as a starting point and work out from that what additional offerings they could take from other providers, and look at where technoplogy can be used to deliver the complete package on a single platform.
"End users often prefer to soruce their hardware and network requirements from one supplier. Offering both systems hardware and specialist network services support we can hel deliver end-to-end working solutions," he added.
