C2000's enterprise and networking division Azlan has launched a recruitment drive to win over the Avaya dealer channel and sign up some new members at the same time.

The distie already carried the Nortel enterprise portfolio when Avaya acquired the unit from the defunct Canadian vendor last autumn, and added the Avaya UC line-up, including its Aura product family, at the start of August.

The firm will be running a series of face-to-face partner events across the country, as well as running a telemarketing campaign and ploughing resources into next month's IP Expo show in London.

Azlan's Avaya team leader, Graham Bunting, who has joined the distie from Opal to head up the new operation, said: "As an enterprise class VAD, we have significant skills available to help dealers develop an Avaya practice, widen their portfolio, increase their revenue and expand their services-based income."
