Nigel Seddon, former UK managing director at Trend Micro, has not had to wait long before reappearing in the channel after being handed a role as Northern European sales director at LANDesk.
The PC lifecycle specialist which offers endpoint protection has given Seddon responsibility for sales in the UK, Netherlands and Sweden.
One of key tasks for Seddon will be to develop the vendor's channels as well as managing the internal sales teams.
Andy Baldin, vice president EMEA sales at LANDesk, said that the appointment of Seddon would give it the chance to expand its operations across Northern Europe.
"These are exciting times for LANDesk. Following the recent acquisition, LANDesk is now in a position to focus on its core product offerings and consolidate our leadership position by developing additional strategies and propositions under Nigel's guidance," he said.
LANDesk was recently acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo who placed Steve Daly, formerly the executive vice president and general manager of LANDesk in charge as CEO.
