Daisy rebrands distribution units for New Year

Dave McGinn - Daisy.JPGAcquisitive networking and comms provider Daisy Group has formally rebranded its distribution units, Anglia Telecom and Fone Logistics, as Daisy Distribution following a lengthy integration process.

The unit, which be run out of the former Anglia Telecom office in Suffolk, will maintain Fone Logistics' Northumberland base, and will remain independent of Daisy's other businesses.

The firm said today it was actively pursuing additional contracts with both resellers and other vendors to enhance its offering; it already distributes airtime for O2, and is a partner of both Orange and Vodafone.

Daisy Distribution managing director Dave McGinn (pictured) said that the official rebranding cemented the unit's place within the group and gave it a strong growth platform.

"We already have strong relationships with our partners, and by bringing the brands together we are able to present a powerful business and expect this to lead to increasing connection levels with all of our network partners," he added.

Daisy initially acquired Anglia in 2009, and picked up Fone for £3.6m in June 2010.
