Yorkshire-based distributor Target Components has inked an exclusive deal with Chinese networking kit builder Tenda, which specialises in SMB and consumer-focused equipment.
The move marks Tenda's first foray into the UK, although it is already widely available in the Far East and the US.
The firm is billed as a competitor to other SMB and consumer networkers such as D-Link and Netgear, and Target believes a generally lower price point, as well as some new models, will keep it competitive in the UK.
"Their universal three-year product warranty proves their commitment to quality in such a competitive market," said Target purchasing manager Kelly Coxon.
Tenda's lines will be pitched largely at Target's network of independent retailers and SMB-focused resellers, according to the distributor.
