Avaya distie ScanSource has launched a professional services offering in the UK, allowing its dealer channel to sell installation services on Avaya kit without having to invest in the resources needed to do it all themselves.
The new offering will sit alongside existing technical support and pre-sales services that ScanSource already provides to its channel.
"Proactively quoting and providing services is a sure way to boost business and increase margins," said ScanSource European director of professional services Colin Booth.
"It also opens up new opportunities; resellers with expertise in the IP Office market can use our installation services to offer a full solution to an end-user in the ACM space without worrying if they can perform the work or not," he added.
Last week ScanSource reported that it expected to make record sales of between $675m and $685m during the three months to the end of December, up roughly 25% on the year-ago figure.
