WAN optimisation vendor Blue Coat has introduced a dedicated Cloud Partner Programme to get its dealer network up to speed on its internet-delivered cloud services offering.
The programme includes two designations, one based on cloud and one on managed security.
The basic Cloud-Ready accreditation provides basic sales and technical training for partners new to cloud while the Managed Security Service Provider designation offers resellers white-labelling and other value added service options.
Blue Coat worldwide vice-president of channel sales, Jim Harold, said the programme would "provide partners with a quick and easy path to successfully sell into the rapidly growing security software-as-a-service market."
"It was important to put our partners at the forefront of this service, so we built the service from the ground up to be a channel-delivered solution," he added.
