Hosting and cloud provider Rackspace has combined four disparate partner programmes into a single global model in a move it claims will streamline the overall partner experience and enable its dealer network to add additional services to their sales mix.
The improved programme will add a centralised relationship management portal, an integrated compensation structure, four new tiers with specific benefit levels, and a single contract.
According to Rackspace, the new features will allow partners to sell and receive compensation across its full portfolio of cloud and email hosting products.
The vendor has also added the usual perks around co-marketing activities, lead generation and training.
Rackspace worldwide channel sales vice president Robert Fuller said that the firm's partners needed to be able to capitalise on the "market shift ... from traditional on-premise server management to cloud-hosted services."
