ScanSource adds ShoreTel installation support

ScanSource is to offer ShoreTel installation and maintenance services across the UC vendor's portfolio as an addition to its Professional Services programme in the UK.

The distributor already provides a similar services proposition on its Avaya products, and said that the addition of design consultation, verification, pre-staging and installation and maintenance services would be a boon to resellers looking to add to their end-user facing offering.

"End-users are increasingly looking to outsource service-related tasks, so a true VAd should be expanding the possibilities available to resellers to satisfy that need," said ScanSource Professional Services director Colin Booth.

"When providing a quote for ShoreTel products, resellers can now tie in the installation and maintenance of that product into the overall proposal without having to send in one of their engineers to perform the work," he added.
