Bull is set to work more closely with the channel after recruiting a former reseller veteran to overhaul its go-to-market strategy.
The French vendor has recruited Andrew Carr, who had worked at Computerland before it was acquired by Capita Group, where he concentrated on managed services, to help it reinvent its routes to market.
The appointment of Carr comes with an expectation he will guide the vendor through to achieve its growth objectives but with his background the channel should be handed a role to play in the vendor's strategy.
Dick Fens, chief executive at Bull UK and Ireland, said it had turned to someone with experience in outsourcing and managed services.
"For all these reasons, I am confident that he is ideally suited to identifying, developing and executing our new go-to-market plan, enabling us to transition and transform the business while achieving the targets we have set," he said.
