High-performance wireless network specialist Xirrus is gearing up for a growth spurt in EMEA after appointing Sean Larner to run its sales and channels in the region.

Larner joins Xirrus from services outfit L'Arbre Solutions, and has previous experience within CA, where he managed the acquisitions of Platinum Technologies and Sterling Software, and at Managed Objects - acquired by Novell in 2008.

Larner, who reports to worldwide sales vice president Hayley Tabor, will take charge of channel and sales strategies, partner communications and client liaising.

"Sean's leadership style is one of focus and driving results to the top line," said Tabor.
