OKI Europe has canned its Printing Solutions brand name effective as of 1 June, and is transitioning back to plain old OKI as part of a mid-term business plan.
Japan-based OKI says it wants to "maximise corporate values and brand equity" through unifying its disparate brand names.
OKI Data Corporation preisdent Harushige Sugimoto said the move would "enforce OKI's brand values, giving us the opportunity to support and deliver a more global approach to our customers".
"As an organisation [we will] take a more prominent, leading position in this competitive marketplace," he added.
