Azlan hires to bulk up HP storage team

Arrow ECS HP head John Ward is crossing over to C2000's enterprise division Azlan to take up the post of HP ESSN business manager.

Ward has over 25 years of experience in technical, sales, marketing and management roles in both channel and end user firms, and will now focus on enhancing Azlan's HP storage proposition in the channel.

To this end Azlan has already built up a three-strong dedicated team of channel development manager William Bond, storage business development manager John Gregory, and new hire Huw Parry, who recently joined from Westcon.

Azlan converged infrastructure director Mark Walker said the "incremental" investment in the distributor's ESSN team was a "clear demonstration of our sincere intention to grow and develop our HP business by providing partners with access to the best expertise and support".

"John brings tremendous knowledge and experience to Azlan and his appointment adds further strength and depth to our capabilities around HP ESSN," he added.
