Alex Scroxton

Andy Horn, former head of SMEs at Colt, has pitched up at Easynet's SME division, Easynet Connect, to run its UK operations.

Horn will be taking charge of the firm's sales, marketing and channel development, as well as overseeing the roll-out of the firm's next generation fibre network in London and beyond.

"His [Horn's] experience growing Colt's SME business is testament to his ability to grow and retain customers both directly and via the channel," said CEO David Rowe.

Added Horn: "The Easynet brand has a great heritage and a strong reputation. In particular we have a terrific value proposition for resellers, based on a broad portfolio of products [and] a lucrative commissions structure."

Prior to a four-year stint at Colt, comms veteran Horn has also worked with Exodus, Telecity, MCI Worldcom and Mercury Communications.
