York firm latest to be caught out by BSA
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) has caught out another business that failed to pay for its software landing the York-based Salamander Organisation with a settlement that will set it back £29,000.
The BSA has kept the pressure on users that fail to have the correct licenses for their software with a string of settlements over the past couple of years as it continues to fight against piracy and to protect industry revenues.
