SAP in hunt for UK boss as Noble moves into emerging role

Simon Quicke
SAP is on the hunt for a new boss to run its UK and Ireland operations after the current incumbent was handed the role of looking after emerging markets for the software giant.

Tim Noble, who had been running UK and Ireland, has been given a role as head of emerging markets in EMEA starting immediately replacing Bernd Kraus and Peter David who had been running it on an interim basis and now return to their COO and CFO EMEA roles.

But the shift in position for Noble means the UK is left without a permanent head, with Fred Hessabi, general manager of EMEA North, taking an interim role as UK and Ireland managing director until a replacement is appointed.

"Companies in emerging markets face different challenges to those in Western Europe," said Noble who has a patch including Russia and the Middle East and North Africa.
