The two companies have been working together since 2009 and Hammer claims to have seen exponential growth on NetApp sales in that time.

"Our goal is to continue nurturing NetApp partners whatever level they may be and to help them maximise the opportunity NetApp presents," said Hammer solutions director Jason Beeson.

NetApp UK and Ireland partner sales director Pete Raden added: "I am confident this strengthening of our relationship will result ... in an improved range of resources being offered to NetApp partners."

The distributor also announced it was enhancing its NetApp internal team with dedicated partner managers and certified datacentre administrators.
