Security and virtualisation reseller Nebulas Solutions has appointed former Cybersource sales boss Richard Parker as its new sales manager, charged with the development of new business across the firm's portfolio.
During a four year stint at secure online payment specialist Cybersource, Parker oversaw a five-fold increase in sales. Prior to that he worked in sales and account management at Dell.
The firm has set itself ambitious targets to double its turnover by 2015, with 50% coming from new business, and at the same time announced the internal promotion of Tim Kirk to run its technical team and beef up resourcing, pre-and post-sales consultancy, vendor relationships and product strategy.
Nebulas managing director Nick Garlick said Parker's appointment was an "integral part of our growth plans".
"He has an impressive track record of helping companies increase their revenues by skilled management, developing sales team[s] and infrastructures to ensure they can move to the next stage of their development," he added.
