Alcatel-Lucent relaunches nought per cent finance plan

Alex Scroxton

Alcatel Lucent's financial services arm has announced it is re-running last year's nought per cent financing scheme built around the firm's enterprise solutions for voice, data and unified comms.

The promotion, available through Alcatel-Lucent resellers until the end of the year, will include a three month payment deferral for "bedding-in" of new technology, and is being backed by BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.

Trevor Evans of Alcatel-Lucent Financial Services said many end-users were still complaining it was expensive and difficult to negotiate traditional loan facilities.

"Partnering with BNP Paribas has already enabled many of our customers to implement new technology to manage their communications needs more effectively," said Evans.

"Because of our success with the nought per cent finance offer last year, we have decided to re-introduce it for this extended period to enable more of our customers to take advantage of the benefits of investing in our solutions," he added.
