Comms and AIDC distributor ScanSOurce has turned in record results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year to 30 June on the increasing strength of its international business.

For the three months to the end of June, the firm, which distributes Avaya and ShoreTel alongside an array of data capture, identification and security vendors, made sales of $735m (£449m), up 26% year-on-year  and net profit of $19.7m, up 39%.

Full year sales and net profit came in at $2.66bn and $73.5m respectively.

CEO Mike Baur said focusing on the firms core competencies had paid off in terms of both sales and marketshare.

"All of our business units performed exceptionally well, with the strongest year-over-year growth in our international segment," he said.
