Cyber-Ark confirms Lowe appointment

Simon Quicke

Cyber-Ark has confirmed that it has taken on former Northern European Check Point boss Nick Lowe with a remit to grow operations at the security vendor as it looks to get more out of its channel relationships.

Lowe left Check Point last month after an eight year stint at the vendor and had been part of the moves made there to restructure the channel based around value rather than just the traditional volume approach.

In the position of vice president of sales EMEA he will be handed responsibility for the European team and making sure that the region pulls its weight in meeting global growth targets.

Udi Mokady, president and CEO of Cyber-Ark Software, highlighted the track record Lowe had with the channel as one of the assets he would be bringing to the business.

"Nick's extensive experience in the industry makes him a valuable addition to our team.  His successful track record in developing channel partnerships to drive revenue growth further reinforces our ability to maximise the opportunities in our market," he said.
