Greg Tomb, who had at one point run the US operations for SAP, has returned to the firm after a recent spell as CEO and president of Vivido Mobile, and is the global head of on-demand sales and got-to-market organisation.
His brief is to grow the on-demand sales and ensure that the offerings are tailored for specific geographies.
He will report into Rob Enslin, president of global field operations, and is one of the clearest indications yet that the vendor plans to expand its on-demand offerings.
