Wholesale voice and data comms provider Entanet has signed an agreement to provide BE Wholesale's ADSL2+ broadband connections alongside its BT-based portfolio.
Entanet, which has been conducting ordering and provisioning trials with BE, expects to make the services available to its partner community imminently.
The firm said resellers would be able to offer a more diverse set of broadband products to their customers, with benefits including uncapped data allowances or bandwidth restrictions.
Entanet general manager Elsa Chen said the agreement was more than a simple supplier aggregation relationship.
"Both companies will be working together proactively, not only to increase share in the UK broadband market but also to introduce more communications products to partners' benefit," she said.
Dan Cunliffe, head of Telefonica-backed BE Wholesale, added: "We're confident that the quality and reliability of our services and infrastructure will help strengthen [Entanet's] competitiveness.
"At the same time Entanet's approach to product development and expertise in channel support can help to strengthen our own position in the market," he added,
