Exinda looks for ten to take it to the next level

WAN optimisation specialist Exinda has rejigged its channel model introducing a platinum level with increased support for around ten UK resellers.

The vendor has made the move to encourage greater loyalty and specialisation and will provide those that sign up with deal registration, demo kit, license service updating and increased margin. The aim is to have the ten partners signed up by the end of this year.

Adam Davison, vice president of sales EMEA at Exinda, said that it was determined it would differentiate itself in the market for rewarding partners with decent margins.

"We are committed and this is what we are doing. Our competitors are going to be getting some interesting news," he said.

To support the resellers he said it had recruited six people and there were leads in the pipeline ready to be passed on to the channel. The vendor has announced that former Blue Coat staffer David Richards has joined to handle salkes in the North and Scotland and Rob Marshall, formerly at Bluefort, has come on board as regional sales manager in the South and Ireland.
