The latest figures from research firm Context show that tablets accounted for 12.2% of the total European tech distributor revenues last month, up by 5.6% on the same month last year, making it the third largest revenue earner.
The Context Data Intelligence Service mines through information from distributors across Europe to reveal which products have been most in demand.
Notebook PCS still rule the roost with a 61.2% share of European distie revenues, followed by desktops with 18.5% and servers took fourth place with a 6.6% slice of the action.
"The iPad continues to make inroads into Europe's business channels with Q3 2011 seeing a significant year-on-year uptake in adoption by both small to medium-sized businesses as well as large enterprises," he said.
