Computerlinks is to expand its continental distribution relationship with DNS, DHCP and IP management - together known as DDI - specialist EfficientIP into the UK in an attempt to help resellers grab a part of a growing niche market.
According to analysts at Gartner, although the DDI market is only thought to be worth $276m (£180m) market, the growing number of appliances hooking into IP networks means management is becoming more and more critical.
"The technical quality and flexibility of EfficientIP's solutions allow them to adapt to the most demanding customer needs, which will help our partners to quickly develop this market," said Computerlinks core technology director David Caughtry.
"With drivers such as cloud, virtualisation and the consumerisation of IT putting increased pressure on networks it is essential for businesses to ensure that the basics, such as administration and security, are in order," he added.
EfficientIP first set foot in the UK last October with the opening of a Thames Valley base. Channel manager Ronan David said the new relationship would go some way to help strengthen the firm's newly-established presence.
