Resurgent network integrator Redstone has lifted the veil on a new datacentre at Vtesse Cirrus' Hertfordshire facility to support its drive into the cloud and improve the quality of service it offers to end users.

The centre will also serve as a venue for the firm to show off its capabilities to potential customers, Redstone said.

"We build secure datacentres on a regular basis for some of the world's largest financial organisations, but we wanted to be able to demonstrate our capabilities to other clients," said the Redstone project delivery director Matt Salter.

"Now we can demonstrate what we do to both present and future clients, and allow them to see just some of what's achievable by working with Redstone and its technology partners," he said.

The facility, which is Redstone's fifth, includes PCI and FSA compliance, energy efficient cooling and biometric security.
